Disaster has struck, throwing the entire trip into doubt as to whether I will go at all or alter plans slightly. In either case there will be costs involved, but its up to the airlines to see if they will cancel!
My friend has developed some medical problems, problems that affect his Diving hobby. He was due to go on a Diving trip before I arrived, but due to his developments has had to change the date. That is the morning after I arrive in Egypt. My first concern is to me friend that he is well, and obviously his Diving is important to him.

While I still plan to go ahead and visit Morocco, its unlikely I could afford a second Holiday this year, and would rather not wait another year to see him! So we're debating whether to post pone the trip until a later date (small fee incurred for flight change) Cancel altogether (same fee involved) or modify my trip to either stay at a hostel in Hurghada or modify the trip to stay in Morocco for the remainder.
The latter has some appeal to me as there was a few 2/3 day excursions I would have liked to have gone on. Namely to the Toubkal National Park. We would be visting various Berber Villages, camping and seeing a truly beautiful natural landscape. For a few hundred Euro I would be housed and fed (not sure about any other extras- fuel, etc).
The next few days will see if my friend recovers enough for us to continue on our original plans. Or whether the plans will have to be adapted. The adventure continues!
